H1N1 virus

One news that could have possible devastating effect on any wedding preparations. Hopefully these measures won't be implemented unless it is absolutely necessary.

PUTRAJAYA: The Health Ministry will impose stringent measures, including closing schools and banning private functions like weddings and gatherings in public places if the influenza A (H1N1) virus starts to spread locally.

“If a locally transmitted case appears, we have to impose ‘social distancing’ by closing schools and institutions and banning gatherings like weddings and celebrations in the entire district to avoid its spread,” said Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Ismail Merican.
